Hit Me Baby One More Time
Anybody watch this show? I think it's really good. It's a little depressing to see how old some of these stars have gotten, but it's very entertaining none-the-less. One of my favorite songs of all time is "As I Lay Me Down" by Sophie B Hawkins. She was on tonite's episode - she sang her hit "Damn I Wish I Was Your Lover" and did a decent job, but when she sang a current hit, she butchered it. I was really disappointed. Never thought I'd vote for Wang Chung over Sophie. Howard Jones was the best tonight I thought, but Irene Cara won. Oh well.

The show I am currently sucked into is "Fire Me, Please" or something like that. It's on (up here) at 9pm on Tuesdays.
Basically, they take two people, get them hired into low-level positions in different companies, and have them compete to see who can get fired from their new job. Of course they can't tell anyone at the job what is actually going on, and they need to try to get fired before 3pm, but as close to it as possible.
All I can say is... friggin' hilarious! Last week they had a girl trying to get fired from a copy shop... she got so desperate towards the end of the afternoon that she threw herself on the copy-shop floor and started belting out an impromptu song about how the job was soooooo incredibly boring! It went something like "boring! boring! everything here is boring!" (in a sing-songy melody).
If your 9pm Tuesday TV slot isn't already booked, I suggest you give it a look.

I seen that Fire Me..Please too, Sarah.That copy girl was hilarious! Here are a couple of other shows that you may want to try. Beauty and the Geek that is on channel 20 @ 8pm. Basically, it pairs up pretty, but not so bright girls with smart but geeky guys. One guy never even kissed a girl before! If you see it you would know why! The geeks teach the girls acedemic things and the girls teach the guys to be well... less geeky. It's funny, though. Dancing with the stars on channel 7 @ 9pm it pretty good, too. It has Joey McIntyre( From NKOTB) in it and Peterman from Seinfeld,if you've ever seen that dancing with professional dancers. It passes time. Just thought I would input some ideas.

I'll have to check out that show "Fire Me, Please". That sounds funny as hell. I've watched an episode of "Dancing with the Stars" and some of "Beauty and the Geek", neither were all that appealing to me. Can you believe some of the stupid sh*t they come out with like "I want to be a Hilton".
Just checked TV Guide - didn't see "Fire Me, Please" anywhere, must be an ABC show - damn basketball (don't tell my husband I said that). Guess I'll catch it next week.
'Fire Me, Please' is actually a CBS program. It's being bumped tonight for the American Film Institute's top 100 Movie Quotes program. (Boooo!) Hopefully we'll all catch it next week!

yeah, they come up up with anything to be a reality show. They don't have too many good shows this summer.
That I want to be a Hilton show looks LAME! It seems like Paris's mom is riding her daughter's coattails.
LOL. I have been checkimg out some show's to watch this Fall. Let me know if you want any suggestions...
